Protein Brownie
Sometimes life calls for a delicious ooey-gooey brownie. This brownie is rich in protein, vegan, and free from gluten or added sugar. The perfect post-workout snack, a treat in between meals, or a dessert—because why not?
Ingredients
- 2 bananas, mashed
- 2 tbsp natural peanut butter
- 1 cup almond or oat milk (unsweetened)
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 scoops protein
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- pinch of sea salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Optional: chopped dark chocolate and walnuts to mix in + on the top
Preperation
Mash the bananas in a large bowl and mix in the peanut butter and milk. In a separate bowl, thoroughly combine all the dry ingredients before adding them to the wet ingredients. Chop the dark chocolate into pieces and mix half into the batter. Pour the batter into a baking dish (20x20 cm) lined with parchment paper, and sprinkle with the remaining chocolate and optional walnuts. Bake for 25–30 minutes at 355°F.
